OT Well done, Sarmad. You know, it always makes me a little nervous to see someone place too many chips in one basket, no pun intended. You have demonstrated the very best of the opposite tradition of putting lots of eggs into one basket and watching it very carefully, an approach that I have come to have more respect for over the years, due to the discipline that it imposes. Now that you are beginning to take profits and diversify, I am curious as to how you have chosen these particular companies - ALTR, XLNX and LSI to funnel profits into.

I am currently long 900 ALTR @ 18.4, 600 XLNX @ 26.33 and have the following LEAP options:

ZXTAG XILINX, INC JAN (2005) 35 CALL 20 Long
ZXTME XILINX, INC JAN (2005) 25 PUT 20 Short
WXJMF XILINX, INC JAN (2006) 30 PUT 20 Short

LSI was one of my favorite short term trading vehicles earlier this year. It would have been more profitable had I simply stayed put. <g>

I was considering selling March '04 ALTR at the money puts today, but have not yet done so.

Sam
