I saw the announcement last night on the news and was very proud that I had read him, thanks to you. I only read Waiting for the Barbarians though, and didn't think I could take another for a while. Like childbirth, I have to wait for the pain to be mitigated by time before I do it again. He is so poetically brutal. Remember The Evolution of Jane? Am reading another by her: She Is Me. If you can get beyond the grammar of the title, it is better than Jane (imo).
