<<Too late to sell, it is never too late to sell and the first objective should be to preserve capital.>>
I was thinking about this statement. I decided that the US dollar isn't worth preserving and so I'm buying more silver bullion today. I also picked up WRM for a song.
I was reading something last night about how WRM or HL or PAAS was a better play than CDE and so last night put in an order to sell my CDE at 3.27 Imagine the fright when I saw it at 2.89 but then realized that I got filled.
Louis, maybe I'm being stupid but I'm over 50 years old now and have seen the very best the USA has to offer and the very worst. My negative feelings about America in general and the corruption ( Grasso, Enron...yadda yadda ) has jaded me to the point that I would NEVER ever consider moving back to the land of The Patriot Act. So, respectfully, you can keep your dollar. I'm in gold not because its just another sector to play but because I believe in it and the eventual demise of the US dollar which wil resume its downward spiral on Monday.
Long and strong gold and silver and stocks.
See y'all when I'm flat broke and busking on Granville Street singing:
<font color=blue>"The diggers came from near at hand and far across the sea, In search of gold and wealth untold, chasing the miners' dream, Chasing the miners' dream.
Through rocky break and gully deep, they scrambled on their way, 'Til they found the river sands where the gold had lain for many a day, Had lain for many a day.
Though the land was tough and the going rough, they panned the river sides, They left their names where they staked their claims all over Central's countryside, All over Central's countryside.
The years have washed their claims away, there's nought but just a trace, All else is past and gone it seems, save some tailing and a water race, Save some tailings and a water race.
Seasons come and seasons go, the years have taken their toll, Where heaps of rubble and stone remain, only sheep and rabbits still go Only sheep and rabbits still go.
Tinkers, Drybread and Bendigo, Macetown and Blackstone Hill, They are no more, wealth beyond recall, but their memory is living still, Their memory is living still.
Chorus:- Lets sing of Moonlight and Molyneux, Shotover River so cold, Of Skippers and rugged Cromwell Gorge, of Clyde and Kawarau gold, Of Clyde and Kawarau gold.</font> " |
