you mirror my thoughts exactly! banks were one of the last industries to deregulate and their technological prowess stops at networked computers and atm machines (IMHO). msft has their hands full and some analysts are saying they are too diversified into money losing enterprises--i think they would buy ckfr or partner rather than trying to mount an attack. many brokerages have web trading but it didn't take long for etrade to run up. and, ckfr has a much greater stranglehold on the market than etrade. remember, electronic banking is a baby--wait till most of us pay bills electronically--it will happen--someone will make a lot of money--i hope it is us and ckfr!
