Yes, I understand the role of appellate courts. I guess I was just disappointed, after reading that whole long thing, that there was no discussion in there anywhere about someone interviewing the girl and what he thought about it. It was implied, I suppose, since it was reported that mom had influenced the kid, but I was itching to know the details. But such is the nature of that kind of document. Judge Amy, on TV, would have interviewed the girl in front of the cameras and we would all have gotten to see it in prime time. <g>
