Fully loaded, a new Mark VIII with saddle tan interior may run me over $60K. I don't want to spend all my money on a car. I always save 25% to put away for retirement. I can't put it in an IRA, but it gets set aside in more stable stuff.

You are right, but I prefer the old cars for my tooling around. I have a 1966 Corvette (rally red) with the two tops and large block chevy engine. Gettin hard to find leaded gasoline, love 100LL
