"The best I can do is report that I observed some comments by Neo that suggested that Solon compared Mojo's actions to the Holocaust"

No. That was a red herring contrived by Neo to defend Jewels when Jewels ran out of running room and became the first class whiner we see before us today. I mentioned that the principle of exclusion and wholesale discrimination had a profile throughout history, and that HOW bigoted a mistreatment is may be a matter of degree. I have said repeatedly that I would rather MOHO discriminate than commit a breech of client safety. There is no parallel between the holocaust (discrimination and exclusion extended into murder) and simple unadorned discrimination, "distaste" and so forth.

On the other hand you can't have genocide without distaste and exclusion and differential valuing and treatment between human groups. So the lesson for humanity is NOT that all bigots are murderers. The lesson is that mistreatment of groups of people always begins with the bigotry of portraying distinct groups as evil, inferior, or perhaps merely distastful. How far society wishes to allow that bigotry to progress before drawing a firm line is up to society. I suggest that history has demonstrated to us that it is better to err on the side of caution, and to not forget that allowing the first level of bigotry provides a new base for the matter to extend itself to a greater level of harm.

This is all basic common sense and for Neo to pretend that I was accusing the hypothetical MOHO of being a murderer rather than a simple bigot is simply one of his rhetorical games, and a sample of the kind of invidious cruelty which hides behind his high blown phraseology and his cunning attempts to intentionally obfuscate and mislead.

"I am not a major proponent of the harm scenario. Chris, Solon and X are"

I wasn't aware that I was a proponent of the "harm" scenario. I am not speaking of the individual "trauma" that might occur to someone who is pissed for being treated with contempt and exclusion. Leave that to the trial people. I was focussing on the violation of a principle of equality which ultimately threatens the foundation upon which rights and privileges rest. If this is what you mean by the "harm" scenario, then I accept that.

No, you are right. If he keeps it under the radar then the harm occurs on an individual level and may be relatively minor. However, he has brought it into the open and for it to be accepted as a legitimate practise would cause society a great deal of harm. I am sure you are more than aware of the distinction, and If my clarification of where I stand was unnecessary--well...I trust it has done no harm.
