I suspect Rush will come clean soon and if he's been addicted to pain killers he'll admit it. Here in the US they don't usually go after the end user if he is just hurting himself. For some reason they are looked upon as the only victim in a victimless crime.

When you are in pain, it's likely very easy to get hooked on this stuff. In the past it was a whole lot easier to get. I remember when they used to sell codeine right over the counter mixed with aspirin.

OTOH, Rush polarizes and has a lot of enemies. Even rival talk show hosts, who would like to see him off the air. I doubt it will happen though.
The fact that guys like you and Ted, hate him...is EXACTLY what he wants...the ability to polarize. Hillary has this ability as well.
