utterly OT: Re Cars
Well, I am going to date myself here, had to smile about your choice of cars, I had a Peugeot Stationwagon, once many moons ago, never liked the 2cv (deuxchevot's),ugly tin boxes_ way too slow for my fast live, ( i agree with your asessment of thos 2Cv,since a couple of my friends in Vienna (all students at that time) drove them! Ha haa, you mentioned Austin 1100, I had them for a couple of years, as well as the Cooper 1300 and than there was another little $hitbox, very high on the snob-scale and just right for me, I forgot the name, it was build on the Austin 1100 chassis, with walnut dashboard and the nose of a ....?that's what I forgot! Oh well, than lastly my last "decent "car, before I succomt to "surfmobile" haven Van's was a beloved Saab 9000 turbo.
How come you know so much about those european cars?
I drove Rallye's and testdrive's on abandend Airport for Semperit tires, before my "lust" for speed got me into Windsurfing! Sorry for all the spelling mistakes, no time to correct it!
