the times i've wiped out, i've always been wearing a helmet...i'm pretty good about wearing them....but admit to sometimes not doing so on certain bike trails (my bad)

geez, we used to ride motorcycles without helmets..

i can remember riding with guys doing 80 or 90 mph on the river bottom roads...wearing cut off's, sandals, and NO HELMET...<gg>

once we did lay a motorcycle on it's side (lost control in some gravel going into a turn, fortunately at a much slower speed) ..... the guy driving put his leg out and helped to break the fall, so t'was just a flesh wound...<g>

(anybody who rides knows it's not a matter of IF you crash, but WHEN)

:)

like oral says, it's a wonder we made out of our childhood and teens alive
