Orca I agree with you 100 %. The Republican party is hypocritical in standing by Arnold. I do see though that most conservatives reject him

By the way I find it ironic that the right says Davis must go as he has squandered the treasury. The left says no no. The left says Bush must go he squandered the treasury he must go. The right says no no.
I think the case can be made that Bush is worse than Davis. At least Davis made the mistake that most Americans made. He believed the revenues would keep pouring in from the market and the raging economy to justify his out of control spending. GW is spending with no such hope. The economy is terrible but he lacks the courage to cut spending as all he cares about is getting re-elected.

I stated this a long time ago that the Republicans would cave in and try to buy votes. All that matters is getting elected and you try to rationalize it by sacrificing your principles by saying but the other side is so dangerous.
