While security is very important we do seem to be beating it to death but if that's what the thread wants, that's what will be discussed. Another reason for the lack of issues that people have with their computers is probably due to 2000 and xp being the most used os's. They are much more stable and error free than 98 and 95 were. Fewer problems...fewer fixes needed.

I apologize to the thread for my limited input lately but I am getting a little burned out on computers. It was a hobby which I thoroughly enjoyed until my work gravitated towards using computers all day. Now I sometimes don't even turn one on when I get home. Even before all the security concerns we were heading more and more towards networking becoming the dominant issue and since I don't do that, I was posting less and less any way. C'est la vie....the thread will go where it's members want it to go.
