I have a need for add-on hardware that captures data from analog video tapes so I can use MS Moviemaker to edit. G. I have an external dazzle card from some time ago that sez it can handle what you need to do... but I have only used it so far to make movies from a digital video camera onto my PC... worked great with MGI Wave 4. I also was able to convert old Hi 8 video (I think this qualifies as analog) onto my PC and make mpegs or avis with the Dazzle card so figure it would live up to its claim of doing your task. This was some time ago, maybe 2 years now. RO
