Yes. They were. And he should. At the very least he should be seriously investigating the possibility.

However, why is standing up for what he believes in the face of attack a bad thing?

It depends. When he is so conspicuously wrong that it's not even arguable by anyone but him, you'd think that the notion that he might be wrong would at least occur to him enough to seek understanding of the opposition.

Where it is defined by his service to them he should use his judgement to determine if a particular treatment is good for them... Every service provider should.

You must have missed the entire nineties, the renaissance in customer service.

I never said anything remotely like that. For someone who is so into discrimination, you sure don't bother making relevant distinctions.

I give up, I think. I may get a second, more like seventeenth, wind, but I doubt it.
