Eric: Say what you will, this kind of reporting offends me personally. Never once in the article was it mentioned what the 3 companies they talked about had to say about these hype artists. So all they end up doing for many people is scaring them away from these companies & the net in general. Very poor reporting skills were used here. The point they wanted to make was to expose the story, never gave the companies a chance to actually say what measures (if any) they were taking to deal with these guys etc. And what about one more bad rap for the net in general .. The Globe & Mail is a very well respected newspaper. When a media giant only starts to report 1 side of a story we are all in trouble. Giving Frank or the FBI a rap is one thing but all the dollars invested in these companies currently are now at risk. For what??? The standards at the G&M are surely not as high as they once were.
