Thats right. Mr. Gates did write a BASIC interpreter for the 8080 processor, however, I still have a copy of it in my attic.

While I am on the subject, MSFT didn't write windows NT either.
It was written by some DEC employees as the next generation replacement for VMS. They called it WNT (get it, V+1=W;M+1=N;S+1=T)
