Speaking on a parallel, and as as a former Union Man, I KNOW that even some unions offer the hardest working laborers to be found in certian industries where comparisons can be made. But my anecdotal experience is, I think, naught but an exception to the ruling truth.
I don't believe your report on some purported study, and you seem to remember very little of the details of it.
Sure, there are lazy freeloaders abounding in government run jobs, right down to county road commissions, but no one said they ALL are, least of all me. It is just that for the class of government employees I was speaking of, even if they work hard as can be, by the nature of their jobs they can produce nothing of value to add to the economic pie, no matter how fast and "efficiently" they shuffle money around. If you get this point of mine, and disagree, perhaps you could write something which actually is aimed at it..
