The vessels are up to 50 years old and contami nated with chemicals including asbestos and heavy diesel. They held this up in court. These environmental whackos have waaaay to much time on their hands. Oil naturally leaks from the ocean floor and thins out to nothing. The asbestos in no problem in water. If they sink, it's too bad for the company, but no problem otherwise.
