After reading that, it appears Dean takes a hardline position, and good for him. As to Clark's apparent waffling on the Iraq war, I believe he took the view that - we're in Iraq now, maybe the outcome will prove positive. I don't think he ever took the view that invading Iraq was anything but ill-conceived. When he realized that, he went back to his initial premise - we shouldn't be there. However, you've made a case that they're both good, although I do believe that Clark's service to this country is anything but wussy, he's a highly decorated Vietnam war hero. First and foremost, this country needs to get Bush out. Whoever can beat Bush has my vote. Dean's decision to repeal the tax breaks for the rich immediately(as if they didn't have enough tax breaks!) is highly commendable. We haven't yet seen Clark's stand on this. In Oregon, we had an MD for governor, Kitzhaber. He was good, I thought. He had more energy and better ideas when he was running for office about 11 years ago. Then he slacked. I'm not all that impressed that Dean is a doctor. You provided great information about both candidates, well worth reading.
