But his refusal to make even a pretense of accommodation, to even listen to concerns and alternatives wouldn't endear him to anyone. He seems utterly insensitive to the reality that there are clients out there who have interests and principles and feelings as well. He just wants to do things his way and damn the torpedos. He thinks he's above the law. He thinks he's smarter than his professional association. He thinks he knows better than his clients what's best for them. And he thinks the whole world revolves around his precious beliefs.

It seems to me that the people trying to force him to perform services on people he doesn't want to (or no one at all) fit your description at least as well as he does (except the above the law part). They don't want to accommodate his interests and principles and feelings. They think they are smarter then him, and that they know what is best for his practice better then he does.
