That's very unfortunate, and we mourn them all. And we thank them for their service and ultimate sacrifice for their country and the hope for international peace. Fortunately, life in Iraq is improving for the Iraqis and is far better already than under Saddam's ruthless reign, after just a few short months.

But much remains to be done, and it will be tough work, with little thanks to people like you.
