Good find regarding Y2K legal case. I can imagine cases like this increasing geometrically. If you were a juror on a case like this, how do you think you would vote? I think I would vote for the person suing the cash register business if they can prove they lost business due to the customer's inability to use credit card... Although, I wonder why he didn't insist the registers be replaced immediately after the FIRST event. If that were the case and the company responded in a timely fashion, I would vote for the cash register company.

We are in for some very interesting times!
