Bob, the WSJ may be printing the "truth", but they obviously restrict their coverage/opinions to the most negative facts, quotes and analyses, while balanced information or even neutral commentary is conspiciously absent. There are numerous postings on this thread which have shown this over and over, citing specific articles.

>>I have been a WSJ subscriber for some time. It's ludicrous to think that they have some vested interest in Apple's failure. What Apple folks don't like is when any form of reality comes crashing down on them.<<

Even the very adjectives they use to describe Apple developments are outright laughable when you begin to see how transparent their bias is. And if there is some good news out of Apple, you won't see it in print in the WSJ. It's very easy to print only negative facts, quotes and opinions. How would you like it if the news networks used this tactic to describe national and world events? You do know that the world isn't all that bad of a place to live, don't you?

In a previous post, I quoted verbatim from Robert Mossberg of the WSJ, when he spoke during the Apple conference call on their quarterly results. Here it is again:

(40:36): "With all due respect to Fred, you don't have a solid revenue base. You may have a great product line, and it may be unfair that this is true, but you have a declining revenue base. You have a market share that's heading towards 5%. It's very, very dangerous territory, if you don't mind me saying so."

Witnessing Mr. Mossberg getting on his soapbox to make an OPINON STATEMENT to the Apple executives was a thinly-veiled attempt to have his own personal opinion aired in front of all the other analysts and reporters. I do not think this is good reporting. The other analysts and reporters managed to ask tough questions without letting their personal feelings get in the way.

To all: do you notice how those that spend so much time arguing the downside of Apple developments and its ultimate demise, is never a short seller? I guess these individuals have a lot of time on their hands. Actually I have more respect for the one or two I recall that have admitted to being short AAPL.

>>Robert, even if I were a short seller (which I have never been nor ever will be) why would that make any difference in the scheme of things?<<
