"but the rice is born to be eaten....... "

Actually that rice had plans to grow into a tall and lovely plant. An evil guy intervened and bleached it to look appealing to westerners and put it in a bag with a sexy babe on the front so that the merchant could convince some dupe that eating it would make him attractive to women. Then he sold it for 2000% profit and had it shipped to the USA. There was some shady stuff on the docks and it got sold to an underground market for a tenth of what the distributor who bought it from china would have recieved.

But the dock worker got cracked over the head and the stuff was swiped by solon ... hope it didn't taste funny, there was some blood involved in the exchange.
