If Xoma loves BPI so much, why is this new probe not sponsored by Xoma? The investigator is sponsoring the trial.

I have asked several times if this type of probe can result in "orphan drug designation". I think it can but no one else has confirmed that it can or stated that it can't.

Yes I am pleased that the probe has started and that it is only the first in the series. But would like to know why Xoma is leaving it to others to sponsor these studies if they have such great confidence in Neuprex/BPI.
