You're really deluded. This race was won on personality and star power versus a dull incumbant candidate. This has nothing to do with Republican ideals unless you count not giving licnses to immigrants, which I don't believe in either. 25-30% of democrats voted for Arnold. These same people are against Bush. Arnold may surprise us. He may govern like Jesse Ventura, that is against the status quo of both parties. And dont think Maria doesn't have influence. She saved his campaign. Perdsonally I thni Arnold should have run as an independent, but if he helps change the GOP from the neocon hardliner religious right corruption party to the more moderate free-minded entrepreneurial party that is fine with me. He might even turn out to be someone I support in the future, unless he has rape on his resume or sides with the energy thieves and polluters. Those are the two big no-nos for me.
