No John, that's the character of the "politics of personal destruction" that Bill Clinton and the left brought forth in vengeance primarily in the 90's. Carville and Clinton still believe what worked for them, will work for others. However, like so much else they believe in, their hollow interior neglects the wisdom of the average American who may even be living in a trailer park tonight.

Clinton tried to save Davis in the final few weeks, but even with his willing accomplices at the LA Times, all they helped do was cement cynicism toward news stories.

Unsubstantiated charges of Hitlerism, womanizing and anything else they could get their hand on weren’t enough to deflect voters from the fraudulent leadership of Democrat Governor Gray Davis. The voters of California fired the bum and hired a foreign born star that came to America with nothing but dreams, ambition, passion and talent.

It still remains to be seen whether those characteristics will be enough to overcome the entrenched establishment of Democrats who control California. The people of California may need to throw a few dozen more of the bums out of office before they can turn things around.
