Hi Ramsey,
My understanding was that she advised all her institutional clients to sell their U.S. stocks. Her indicators were that the market was going down another 10-15% from the day of her call.Nobody can consistantly call the turns in the market . The smart ones don't even try. The thing I found so ludicrous was that she thinks she can . Wall Street buries people like this .Public hubris is rewarded by the market doing exactly the opposite thing. The analysts who survive over the long term learn to keep their heads down and wait for the smoke to clear. My sense is her career was waning , her client base was deserting for greener pastures , and she felt a big time market call could bring her back . We'll see , but it looks bad for her so far. I really don't wish her any ill will. But I don't think her clients are feeling positive towards her tonite. Charts look positive, not negative .
