ADVERTISEMENT Ennis, I used Zicam at the onset of a cold and lost all sense of taste and smell, had Cat Scan, no problem there, I saw an EENT and he could find nothing wrong, except the Zicam. There are alot of us out there. I contacted the clinic in Denver and they also have Zicam users with the same concerns. Dr. Davidson at UCSD does also. My pharmacy has a note up saying if you are buying Zicam, see the pharmacist. They know what I have been through. This is not over. The product is not safe. annabel20 -----Original Message----- From: Jdglen [mailto:gburgett@d...] Sent: Saturday, November 02, 2002 2:57 PM To: anosmia@yahoogroups.com Subject: Re: [anosmia] Beware of Zicam spray gel: Loss of Smell (attention ennis052)
ennis i was amazed to read yor post today, i too used zicam nasal spray when i had a cold and like you ,bam, everything gets all messed up. i had wondered if that may have caused my problem ? i do remember that my nose did burn so very bad, i cant remember though if it was before of after i used the zicam nasal spray. i think it is well worth telling everyone not to use the stuff if you have a cold , i wish i had never used it, i am very phantom anosmic, i guess that is the way you would say it. thanks for the information, i would be very interested if there others out the that can share their story on zicam. ----- Original Message ----- From: "ennis052" <kalseecu@a...> To: <anosmia@yahoogroups.com> Sent: Saturday, November 02, 2002 8:26 AM Subject: [anosmia] Beware of Zicam spray gel: Loss of Smell
