Everyone agrees that NT is becoming more of the OS standard and companies like Great Plains, Platinum, etc. will continue to flourish. However, until NT can scale up to the enterprise level of Unix, the large enterprise deals will continue to drive up in multiples the revenues of Baan, SAP, and PSFT.

Think of it this way: Why sell 10 Chevy's (GPS, Platinum) for $1M when you can sell 10 Cadillacs (Baan) for $10M?
