The election in California was another indictment against Bill Clinton and the politics of personal destruction he made famous. It was also an indictement against liberal fiscal irresponsibility.

Although few in the press will remind us, Bill Clinton went to California in order to be Gray Davis's advisor. He was supposed to save Davis from the recall and in the process recover some of his tarnished reputation as an impeached President.

When Bill Clinton came into office, Democrats controlled the House and Senate, a majority of Governors and the majority of state legislatures. Today, just the opposite is the case.

Democrats who have wedding themselves to this hollow person and bought hook-line-and-sinker into the political attack dog politics of Terry McAuliffe and James Carville are steadily losing support from the American people. Like a single blade of grass growing in a field, it's difficult to see the harmful effect until the entire meadow is overgrown with weeds. Bill Clinton is still a relatively young man. His wife is young too. Who knows how far they're going to drag the Democrat party in the next two decades.

In summary; Bill and Hillary Clinton are the best players on the Republican team. Conservatives couldn't have created a better mole. :)
