15:02 ET Market Chatter 20.37 +0.24: Talk now beginning to circulate that concerns over a possible AMAT earnings warning are weighing on equities. AMAT shares did trade lower amid a spike in volume about 20 minutes ago, but stock isn't trading as if investors are heading for the exits. Also keep in mind that shorts will be looking for any opportunity to float a negative rumor in this market.
