It is not irrelevant at all. It is not systematic discrimination; it is just one developer out of thousands, as Mojo is one massage therapist out of thousands. Parallel cases. In fact, Mojo probably serves many more clients than Devo does, so if any harm of exclusion is done, his exclusion is, at least numericall, more harmful.
We have no idea why the developer, Devo, takes the position she does; you haven't even inquired into that at all, whereas you're willing to spend hours defending Mojo's position. Why do you think Mojo deserves to have his reasons for exclusion fully explored, but don't even care to ask why Devo takes the position she does?
The reason, of course, is that you're unprepared under ANY conditions to accept Devo's position, so you reject her out of hand. Which certainly aids your defense of Mojo, but is otherwise intellectually completely dishonest.
