Arnold's problem is he stands for corporate profits. We need to remove a lot of corporate profit to reduce health care costs, which is the fastest-rising cost in the budget. Arnold is going to have to make some very unpopular choices, perhaps a lot more unpopular than hiking car taxes, which by the way he may not even be able to legally rescind. Arnold didn't tell us that, did he? One thing I'll bet Arnold does it pay back his developer contributors by selling off tracts of state-owned land. That is also going to be hugely controversial.
