No, Kerry called it like it was too, but without being a pacifist anti-war liberal. Kerry told Bushies, "OK, I'll vote to give you war powers but only if you get the UN and a broad coalition behind us, and also take your time and form a post-invasion plan that guarantees we win the peace too". They reneged on all those promises.
