Anti Americanism is a direct result of our strong support of Israel at the expense of a Palestinian state, our interference in ME politics and the dominant presense in the region commanded by our corporations. This is ridiculous BS and reflects a total lack of understanding of what is going on in the region. These people are desperate, having been robbed of all dignity -- not by the US, but by their own leaders, fat on oil profits. They need to hate someone and America is a convenient target -- particularly when you can't safely hate the leadership. This is precisely why removing Saddam was a critical component to making the United States a safer place.
