He simply did not say she was an undercover agent. Period. Yes, his use of the word "operative," he apologized for by explaining he's used that word to describe all sorts of folks with various associations over his years of writing. But I think the essential fact is, if she IS an undercover agent and damaged, scarcely anyone got it from Novak's article, widespread attention to this only came about when these charges were leveled. If I wanted to find the name of Wilson's wife prior to these charges being made, I could have read his biography in Who's who(probably wouldn't have taken long). So I ask you, how long would it take you to figure out - Novak's article in hand - that she is an undercover agent who's cover was blown? Answer: About 2.5 months when her husband gets mad when he finally realized her name appeared in a Novak column after learning about an investigation into her appearance there. Dan B
