Anti Americanism is a direct result of our strong support of Israel at the expense of a Palestinian state, our interference in ME politics and the dominant presense in the region commanded by our corporations.

These people are desperate, having been robbed of all dignity -- not by the US, but by their own leaders, fat on oil profits. They need to hate someone and America is a convenient target -- particularly when you can't safely hate the leadership.

Excuse me.....do you really think people are that stupid; that they can't discern between their own leaders and the US? Do you think that OBL and the 16 Muslims that flew into the WTC are from the streets? To a man, they were all well educated and came from upper middle class and upper class homes.

Do you think the current insurgency is made up of poor Iraqis who are frustrated that Saddam is gone and they have no one to criticize so they are going after the Americans? Do you think the Palestinians are burning the American flag because they really want to kill Sharon but can't get to him?

The anti Americanism is because of years of actions based on the thinking of people like you. We have meddled, interfered, manipulated, aided and abetted, and usually supported the bad guy.

This is precisely why removing Saddam was a critical component to making the United States a safer place.

Look......you can fantasize all you want but the question isn't whether the terrorists are going to hit us again or not, but rather where and when.
