There's no technology that can "solve" the "punch card ballot problem". The REAL problem is that the person holding the punch (perhaps flush with packs of smokes, and on his third trip to the polls that day) is INCAPABLE of reading the four-letter names in front of him.

Equating allowing (indeed, encouraging) this piece of human flotsome to vote-perhaps even more than once per election-with "civil rights" is a fraud beyond the imagination. Those who promote this as "participation" can be considered nothing less than a domestic enemy of our society.

Put the charlatans who placed this illiterate trash at the ballot box behind barbed wire, and the "punch card ballot problem" is immediately SOLVED...
