Kay found active WMD research and production facilities. He was told about shipments of stockpiles over the border, especially to Syria. He was able to confirm the shipments, but not the contents of the convoys. Since Bush never used the purported imminent danger justification, but explicitly said in the State of the Union Address that we could not afford to wait until the threat was imminent, given that it was inevitable, there is actually enough data so far to support the Administration claims. Furthermore, even skeptics admit that Saddam acted guilty, thus leading to speculation either that he was pretending to have WMDs to enhance his reputation, or that his underlings were lying to him about production. Either way, there were either WMDs or an active disinformation campaign to convince us that there were WMDs.

There are plenty of links to Al Qaida and other terrorist groups, although there is no clear link to 9/11. I will get some material on those links later.......
