Repeating your assertions over and over without bringing any new evidence or arguments to the table does not make your case.

There is no evidence that Saddam was behind 9/11. However, there is credible information that Saddam: funded Zawahiri's Muslim Brotherhood in 1998, helped fund the 1993 attack against the World Trade Center, trained terrorists at Salman Pak, was working with the Islamist group Ansar al Islam against the Kurds, and was openly funding Palestinian terrorism against Israel.

The question is: after 9/11, do you leave this guy in place to continue his business as usual with his oil revenues and his history of WMD use, or do you take him out? You say, leave him alone. The Bush administration came to a different conclusion.

I will remind you that that business as usual in the Mideast brought us 9/11, which is why even as unhawkish a character as Tom Friedman supported the war in Iraq.
