If she's retarded, she probably doesn't have any grasp of the concept of freedom of conscience. If she does have a grasp, she will have plenty of time to ponder it while she stands in the unemployment line. Which is why I keep asking what freedom of conscience gets you. Which is why i have kept remarking that freedom of conscience plus a couple of bucks gets you a Big Mac. I assume the employer in your Barbara scenario is a coincidence. <g> Earlier on I explored what kind of mechanism might be set up to administer these freedom of conscience exemptions.
