Canada is very much coupled with the US... We've had our share of disasters too... Namely, SARS, US protectionism tarriffs on our wheat/softwood lumber, beef ban, Hurricane hitting our east coast. We're also fighting terrorists too... We've significant number of forces in Afghanistan and new border and airport security measures have slowed trade between Canada and the US. Despite all this, we're still rocking, while the Bush economy in the US yields job losses for the ordinary folk and pocket lining for Bush's corporate buddies.

BTW Mighty US$ DOWN again, CAD$ and Euro UP.
Do I hear a $2.00 Euro on the horizon? 40% devaluation of the greenback vs. the Asian currencies? Kinda humbling isn't it?
