I think since your on the XP version (which would be outlook 2000 although its the new outlook 2003 to be released on Oct 21st which is supposed to be the major upgrade) it may not be an issue. Its me on outlook express 6 (outlook 2000) which may be the issue.

One google reference was a paid site which I'm not joining as it may not be the right answer.

One answer is changing the registery which again I won't do. If push comes to shove they can revert to excel 97 (for some reason excel 2000 also does not transmit / work)

I really think its just MSFT forcing people to upgrade software.
