I pay 40% of the cost, the company 60%. The premium has gone up much fast than inflation. Prescription drugs mainly are the reason given by the insurance companies for price hikes each year. IMO-Doctors would say their malpractice insurance cost is a reason, for their costs. So we are both bearing more of the cost. The 40/60 share has been constant. I personally pay 61.08 a week for medical (family)with a 15.00 co-pay. Remember I'm in western N.Y..
