Dear Mark,
With all due respect to you, I must state that many of the statements that you have made in above posting are wrong, e.g." whenever there is bleeding, there is infection" and many others. Statements in regard to FDA approval process and its implications are also not true.
It will take me little longer to reply to all issues raised in your posting. I will do so in a day or so. But I must state that most of the statements made in you posting are wrong. I am sure you have background in Biology, but I doubt you have back ground in Medicine, much less Hematology. I would really urge you to reconsider making such postings on this thread.I am sure your intentions are very noble, honest and honourable BUT I am afraid you are not doing service to other readers by posting such grossly inaccurate information.
We all have our opinions and we have right to express them. Whether one should buy or sell Somatogen is a matter of individual's decision. I have never advocated what any individual to do. I am very disappointed that your statements appear to be wrong or highly biased, to suit your personal opinion about Hb substitutes. I would really appreciate if we all separate our personal opinions from scientific facts.
Detailed reply to each point to follow.
N.B. Except being an investor like most of you, I have no other connection to Somatogen and has not received or intend to receive any other favours-considerations from Somatogen(or any other blood substitute manufacturer), directly or indirectly.
