they can be thrown into situations they cannot handle, and in this case needed medication was kept from a little girl by people who didn't do (or know how to do) the right thing.

I think that this situation could have happened in any school environment.

It is interesting that these parents trusted that the people in the charter school would have the training and tools necessary to address their daughter's condition over the public school. I wonder where they got that impression?
