That is a good point. But I would be sensitive to the dilemma posed by the actual lawsuit if I were a judge. Yes, the person defied the law, supposing that his business was too trivial to attract state interest. Still, I cannot turn back the clock. Do I have to force the issue? And if I have a choice, would I? And if I did, would I feel that something was amiss?
