Reagan also left us with record debts which Bush Sr. and Clinton had to pay off by raising taxes and cutting defense spending. Fortunately the Cold War ended and we could cut defense spending without a problem, but debt-debt-debt. Voodoo Economics doesn't work. Budgets have to be balanced. Right-wingers really want to do away with all social programs. I know that. But that it not what most people want.
