Being the victim of the same malady that Rush suffers from, I also have great sympathy for his plight. My condition is minor, and I've never had to have surgery, but I do have to take pain medication occasionally to get through some days......especially when I have to travel long distances and sit for hours at a time.

I think one of the fallacies of modern politics will be finally put to rest though, and that is that liberals are more compassionate than conservatives.
